Niwaki Weeding Hoe

Like our trusty Hori Hori this is an invincible little weeding tool from the wonderful people at Niwaki.

It's ideal for weeding in between plants, and the sharp blade slices through weeds instantly. We also use it for preparing seed drills.

A perfect gift for any gardener. (currently only right-handed hoe available).

1. Correct Use:

• Japanese steel is hard and sharp, and can be more brittle than some people are used to - it will chip if abused

2. Keeping It Clean:

• Regularly remove mud, rust and gunk
• Dry, wipe over with Camellia oil and store in a dry place

3. Keeping It Sharp:

New tools won’t need sharpening for some time, but after a while you’ll notice them gradually lose their edge, Use the Niwaki Sharpening Stones for best results (#1000 grit is best for general sharpening).
