AUGUST: Floral Gelli Plate & Cyanotype Printing workshop 22/08

Artist Jenny Muncaster is joining us to lead this exciting printing masterclass exploring Flora through printing.

Jenny is a painter and teacher with a passion for nature and the vibrant textures and colours that the natural environment brings. I can't think of anyone better to help capture the beauty and vibrance of our flowers. 

The three-hour class will explore the texture and structure of flowers and leaves through two media, Gelli Plate printing and Cyanotype. Gelli plates enable you to take a mono print, and Cyanotype is a technique where you use a leaf or flower to block out the light on photosensitive paper, which produces an incredibly detailed image. We will be printing our own gift tags, greeting cards, mini notebooks and beautiful one-off prints to frame!

You'll leave with a bunch of blooms, several beautiful prints and lots of new creative hints and tricks.

All materials, tea and cake will be provided; please dress for the weather. 

Terms:

If heavy rain is forecast, we will move the workshop to another date, and a full refund will be given in the event you can't make the new date. 

If the workshop does not sell at least half the places, we may reserve the right to cancel the event and give you a full refund or offer you the chance to move to another workshop.

A full refund will be given if you cancel 7 days before the workshop; no refund thereafter unless we can resell the ticket.
