JULY: Floral Mechanics: Large Arrangement 18/07
Couldn't load pickup availability
Saturday 18th July 10 - 1 pm
Location: Stem and Green Flower Farm, Down Farm Lane, SO23 7LA
This is our second Floral Mechanics class, a series of workshops exploring foam-free floral mechanics. This is a perfect introduction and ideal for anyone wanting to move away from using floral foam. It can also be done in conjunction with our other floral mechanics classes.
The workshop begins floral demonstration on how we construct a large display. You'll then work in groups of twos and threes, pick and arrange a large foam-free arrangement, this could be an urn on a plinth, basket or a milkchurn. We'll end with cake and tea.
The arrangements will be deconstructed so you can take home an armful of flowers.
Please come prepared for all weathers, so bring a hat, suncream, water bottle or raincoat. All tools will be provided, but we recommend you bring a bucket or vase to take your flowers home in.
Terms:
If heavy rain is forecast, we will move the workshop to another date, and a full refund will be given in the event you can't make the new date.
If the workshop does not sell at least half the places, we may reserve the right to cancel the event and give you a full refund or offer you the chance to move to another workshop.
A full refund will be given if you cancel 7 days before the workshop; no refund thereafter unless we can resell the ticket.
Please let us know if you have any dietary requirements.

Care Instructions
Care Instructions
To keep your flowers looking their best, arrange them in a clean vase with fresh water, place away from direct sunlight or heat and change the water every few days. We also recommend trimming the ends of the stems after a few days to help them draw up water.
