JULY: Floral Ceramic Tile, Dish and Decoration Workshop 27/07

Saturday 27th July, 10 - 1 pm

Location: Stem and Green Flower Farm

We are very excited to have potter and ceramicist Sarah Pearson from 2Spots Ceramics join us to lead this masterclass.

Over three hours Sarah will show you how to create handmade tiles, dishes and decorations from rolled-out clay, decorated with impressions of flowers and foliage from our flower field. You should be able to create up to 5 items during the session. 

This is a perfect workshop for teenagers and adults and you don't need to have had any previous experience. 

The workshop will begin with you heading out into the flower field to pick suitable flowers and foliage. Once back in the flower shed, Sarah will take you step by step through her creative process with lots of fun hands-on tuition. You'll learn how to prepare and roll out the clay and how to effectively make impressions into the clay with the natural materials you collected.

The items will then be fired and can be collected approximately three weeks later from our workshop.

Tea and cake will be provided for what will be a fun morning of creativity. You'll leave with a new skill, some flowers from our field and the knowledge that your pottery creations will be ready to collect once they have been glazed and fired!

All materials and tea and cake will be provided, please dress for the weather.

If heavy rain is forecast, we will move the workshop to another date, and a full refund will be given in the event you can't make the new date. 

A full refund will be given if you cancel 7 days before the workshop, 50% refund thereafter.
