JUNE: Ceramic Bee Bath Workshop 13/06

Pottery School, Design Junction are joining us this summer to lead this exciting Bee Bath masterclass. Based in the heart of Winchester, Design Junction is a thriving creative hub, that offers a range of artistic and crafty classes. 

We are super excited to have Amy and Jake join us to create beautiful ceramic Bee Baths.

Providing clean and safe drinking water for bees and pollinators is crucial for a happy and thriving ecosystem. By creating a bee bath, you’ll be offering a safe water source, preventing them from drowning in deeper water sources like birdbaths or swimming pools. They are essential during hot, dry, or drought-prone weather for hydration, cooling the hive, and creating food for larvae. 

The three-hour workshop will begin with tea and coffee, then a leisurely picking time, to grab some floral inspiration from the field. With your flowers in hand, Amy and Jake will take you through how to create several florally inspired bee baths. We then end with cake and coffee.

There will be enough time to make 1 - 2 bee baths.

You'll leave with a bunch of blooms and a new skill.  Your bee baths will be fired and ready for collection a few weeks later. 

Terms:

If heavy rain is forecast, we will move the workshop to another date, and a full refund will be given in the event you can't make the new date. 

If the workshop does not sell at least half the places, we may reserve the right to cancel the event and give you a full refund or offer you the chance to move to another workshop.

A full refund will be given if you cancel 7 days before the workshop, no refund thereafter unless we can resell the ticket.
